Each circuit on the facing page contains several motors. Each motor can be modeled as a resistor with a positive, finite, non-zero resistance R_m, and all motors have the same R_m value. We will assume, as we will see in lab, that the speed of a motor is proportional to the voltage drop across it.
For each of the circuits below, sort the motors in order of increasing speed (regardless of direction). If any of the answers depend on R_m or if there is otherwise not enough information to solve, tell us why.
For example, for a given circuit, if M_2 is the slowest motor (not moving), M_3 and M_1 are moving at the same speed, and M_4 is the fastest motor, you should indicate that with: M_2 < M_3 = M_1 < M_4
