Consider the following circuit operating in sinusoidal steady state:

Answer the following questions about this circuit:

  1. What is the circuit's frequency response \tilde{H}(\omega) = {\tilde{v}_o \over \tilde{v}_i}?
  2. Determine analytic expressions for the magnitude and phase of the frequency response as functions of \omega.
  3. Sketch a Bode plot for this circuit, labeling all key values, assuming that R_1C_1 = {R_2C_2\over 100}.
  4. Your friend questions the need for the voltage follower in the circuit above, suggesting that we could achieve the same frequency response with the following circuit (which is the same as the circuit above but without the voltage follower). Are they right? Explain in detail why or why not.
