1) Part 1

Consider the following circuit, in which the current source's value is set to 0 for a long time before becoming some value I_0 at t=0:

The following graph shows i_{\rm R}, i_{\rm L}, and i_{\rm C} (in units of Amps) as functions of time, for t \geq 0. The graphs are unlabeled, however.

Assume that C = 1{\rm mF}, and use information from the graphs below to find approximate values of L, R, and I_0, and also specify which of graphs (A, B, and C) corresponds to i_{\rm R}, i_{\rm L}, and i_{\rm C}.

For full credit, clearly explain your reasoning, including any important quantities you estimated from the graphs and how they relate to your answers.

2) Part 2

Now consider a circuit with the same R, L, and C values as above, but where the input current I changes in a different way, this time starting at some value I_0 for a long time and then changing to 0 at time t = 0.

The following graph shows i_{\rm R}, i_{\rm L}, and i_{\rm C} (in units of Amps) as functions of time, for t \geq 0. The graphs are once again unlabeled.

Use the information in the graph to find the approximate value of I_0, and also specify which of graphs (A, B, and C) corresponds to i_{\rm R}, i_{\rm L}, and i_{\rm C}.

For full credit, clearly explain your reasoning, including any important quantities you estimated from the graphs and how they relate to your answers.
